I'm an army wife, working mom of 2 kids.! My husband Tim is a Soldier In the army. I work for MWR for the Community Recreation Division as an admin assistant...I absolutely LOVE my job I couldn't have found anything better! My daughter, Kennedie, was born in January of 04 and our son, Cale, was born June of 09. Kennedie is VERY involved in dancing, she is in her 11th season (2019-2020) of being a competitive dancer. It's exhausting but we LOVE it. Cale is starting to REALLY get into sports. He is on a year round wrestling team, and he plays baseball in the spring! This blog started out as a recipe sharing venture but now it's going to turn into a more "granola" way to live. Cheap recipes more homemade recipes and re-purposing things. I'm a crafter at heart so I'm going to throw some of that in there too! On Valentines Day of 2017 we bought our first Travel Trailer. I'll be documenting our travels also on this blog!

2013 Resolutions

So my resolution this year is to organize organize organize!  I have always loved www.iheartorganizing.blogspot.com she truely inspires me!  This essentially is where my resolution was born.  I have two closets in my house that are just a "shove and go" one is in my craft room which is being used as a ball gown and craft tub storage and another that is a walk in style storage room that just needs a rhyme and reason!  I found some space bags at office depot the other day.  It was a variety pack with an x-large, large, and medium.  First thought was to put all those ball gowns into them.  I only needed to keep one out that I got on clearance and am wearing to our next military ball, all the other 7 and my daughters two fancy dresses went into two seperate space bags.  I just heard some of you gasp!  Don't worry they are now dust, waterproof and KID safe!  All space bags do is take all the air out of the gowns, they will fluff right back up when you open the bag!

FIVE ball gowns in one bag.  I LOVE it!  It gives me a good portion of my closet back by doing this!
