I'm an army wife, working mom of 2 kids.! My husband Tim is a Soldier In the army. I work for MWR for the Community Recreation Division as an admin assistant...I absolutely LOVE my job I couldn't have found anything better! My daughter, Kennedie, was born in January of 04 and our son, Cale, was born June of 09. Kennedie is VERY involved in dancing, she is in her 11th season (2019-2020) of being a competitive dancer. It's exhausting but we LOVE it. Cale is starting to REALLY get into sports. He is on a year round wrestling team, and he plays baseball in the spring! This blog started out as a recipe sharing venture but now it's going to turn into a more "granola" way to live. Cheap recipes more homemade recipes and re-purposing things. I'm a crafter at heart so I'm going to throw some of that in there too! On Valentines Day of 2017 we bought our first Travel Trailer. I'll be documenting our travels also on this blog!

Mothers Day weekend 2019

Such a busy Mothers day Weekend this year!!!
Start off on Friday night was Kennedie's play performance.  This was her high schools first "Drama Club" performance.  They did a fantastic job.  Even the other high schooler's that came to support their friends thought they did a great job!  I have no doubt that the club will be bigger next year!
They performed "Almost, Maine" - it was a series of short love stories that connected but didn't really connect.  The other people that were mentioned in the scenes were from played in other scenes, and they were all in Almost, Maine.  They decorated the cafeteria to look like a wintery version of Maine.
Kennedie was in the first scene.  She did a GREAT job and I was super proud of her.

All the kids did a WONDERFUL JOB and they deserved that bow at the end!

Saturday Kennedie had dance pictures, and finale rehearsal after.  I ran some errands while she waited for practice to start.
I bought myself some Lilly Pulitzer ear phones for mothers day.
Sunday morning - this dude slept almost until 930!!!  We just laid around all day and enjoyed our lazy Sunday.  I hope you all had a great mothers day as well!
