About Me

I'm an army wife, working mom of 2 kids.! My husband Tim is a Soldier In the army. I work for MWR for the Community Recreation Division as an admin assistant...I absolutely LOVE my job I couldn't have found anything better! My daughter, Kennedie, was born in January of 04 and our son, Cale, was born June of 09. Kennedie is VERY involved in dancing, she is in her 11th season (2019-2020) of being a competitive dancer. It's exhausting but we LOVE it. Cale is starting to REALLY get into sports. He is on a year round wrestling team, and he plays baseball in the spring! This blog started out as a recipe sharing venture but now it's going to turn into a more "granola" way to live. Cheap recipes more homemade recipes and re-purposing things. I'm a crafter at heart so I'm going to throw some of that in there too! On Valentines Day of 2017 we bought our first Travel Trailer. I'll be documenting our travels also on this blog!

Scrap Storage

I used to have a shoebox size rubbermaid container to hold all my vinyl scraps.  It was HORRIBLE to find anything that I might have.  They never faced the right way, I always had to rifle through thinking I had to have a certain color SOMEWHERE in the box, flip everyone over to see it's color.

I found these jems at target in their dollar spot section!  I got three of them in different colors.

I inventoried my goods as I was placing them in the pockets.  I didn't have enough white to have it's own divider so yellow/orange were probably the closest to white than red.  You get the idea.

I got out my labeler added some clear tape inside and cut off the excess to fit the tab.  These bad boys came with half circle labels if you don't have a labeler and just wanted to hand write.
I'm pretty sure this will work and remind me to use the scraps!
This is all the wall vinyl that I couldn't fit in - but I'm sure I can find a spot for it or maybe get myself to use it this week so I can find another use this tub.
